The Simon K.Y. Lee Global Lounge Resource Centre at the UBC serves as a home base for globally-focused UBC student clubs and organizations, currently representing membership of more than 1000 students.

Engineers Without Borders UBC is a current member of the Global Lounge network and with it comes privileges for all of the club members:


Ability to govern and make decisions for the physical space & community
Connect & network with other internationally/globally-minded students and organizations on campus 24 hour access to the Global Lounge (without payment)
Professional Development opportunities
Access to shared office space, printing, photocopying and supplies
Increased marketing opportunities: access to advertise club events on the Global Lounge Newsletter, Blog, Facebook as well as UBC-wide marketing such as UBC Events, the large screen on University Boulevard, and UBC twitter feedsMembers are encouraged to take full advantage of the global lounge and all its resources. The lounge is located in Marine Drive Building 1 on the ground floor.
